SVA Co-Presidents Dylan O'Connor and Jamie McCusker recently attended a kickoff meeting for the Stratfield Four Corners Project at Fairfield Town Hall. Town of Fairfield Head of Economic Development Mark Barnhart hosted the meeting and others in attendance included members from the town purchasing department, Town of Fairfield Engineer Bill Hurley and representatives from the contractors selected by the Town of Fairfield for the project, Colonna Concrete.

At the meeting it was confirmed that work on the project will start in the spring as soon as weather allows, although there may be some prep work done by utilities in the area over the winter months. In addition, there will soon be a project sign posted at the Four Corners where the Welcome to Stratfield Village sign is located. The SVA will be in touch with the Town of Fairfield and Colonna throughout the construction process and we will update the neighborhood regularly.
