Stratfield Village includes over 7,000 residents and represents one of Fairfield’s most vibrant and diverse parts of town.

Our Mission

The Stratfield Village Association facilitates community inclusiveness, sustainability, awareness, investment, and involvement to promote a safe, vibrant neighborhood.

Our Goals

1. Create awareness of issues that affect all residents of the neighborhood

2. Build interest of residents in the welfare of the neighborhood

3. Encourage participation of residents in neighborhood gatherings and initiatives

4. Represent the neighborhood and its residents in the wider Fairfield community

Our History

15 years ago, a small group of SVA residents established the Stratfield Village Association to help protect the character of our neighborhood when the future of the Stratfield Market was in question and after a successful fight, the SVA disbanded by 2012. In 2016 the SVA was restarted by new leadership and a new board as a registered 501 c3 non-profit. The SVA is here to be a representative voice of our community with developers, town, state and local officials to ensure these developments have a positive effect on our neighborhood.

Our Team

  • Nicole Farrell

Nicole has been a proud resident of Fairfield for over 15years. Growing up as an innovative thinker in Merrick, NY, she and her husband decided to settle their roots in CT in 2007 with their newborn son, and expanded their family several years later.

Now with two sons actively involved with sports and school activities, Nicole continually procures positions to strengthen her ties within our community. From serving on the PTA board at the boys Elementary School, President of the Moms Club, and now an active member of the PTA at their High School to volunteering her time and efforts to help Stratfield Village make our neighborhood a better place to live. Nicole continues to serve the people in our community as a Real Estate agent as co-chair of “Nicole in the Neighborhood/Team AFA” at William Raveis Real Estate. Nicole is thrilled to be a part of the SVA and loves the idea of helping to beautify and improve our neighborhood not just from a physical aspect, but to educate and enhance its well- being on every level.

  • Debra Kelly

Debra is a proud graduate of Villanova University (go ‘Cats!) and she received her law degree from Quinnipiac College. She works for the City of Milford as in-house counsel, handling all legal matters with a concentration on contract negotiations and land use. Debra lives on Buena Vista Road with her husband, David (“Woody”) Woodward and their two children; Colin, who attends Fairfield Prep, and Molly, who attends Tomlinson Middle School.
