Treevitalize Stratfield
The Stratfield Village Association has partnered with the Fairfield Forestry Committee to plant dozens of trees in the Stratfield neighborhood at a 50% discount to homeowners! The SVA will subsidize one half of the cost.
WHERE: Trees are planted in the right of way usually along the front of your yard subject to a few rules and guidelines.
1. After you have submitted your request, a member of the Forestry Committee will contact you with program details and timing. They will reach out via email to arrange site visits to select locations and the appropriate tree and write up an order. Choose from a variety of different species of trees to plant to beautify both your home and the neighborhood and provide shade for generations to come!
2. You will pay after ordering. Normal cost for a tree is $200, but through the SVA program it is now only $100!!! Trees are planted in spring and late fall cycles.
3. This is a popular program and we reach limits on capacity and availability so submit your request to get in on the next cycle.
